This historic Quaker Meetinghouse, surrounded by gardens, is a short walk from the Dupont Circle Metro, close to many hotels and restaurants. The Meeting Room seats 300 and is appropriate for concerts, speakers, and some performances; other spaces are available for groups from 15 to 150 people for classes, workshops, receptions, and conferences. There is a catering kitchen available, as well as two terraced gardens. WiFi accessible. A peaceful, creative space.

Restrictions On Use Alcohol may be served with permission of our office. Beer, wine, and champagne only (no liquors or spirits). Alcohol must be served by a bartender and the space user (or caterer) must have a DC alcohol license. Certain spaces have restrictions on consumption of red wine. If renting the Meeting Room for an event, no tape of any kind may be used on the space's sensitive cork floor. No food or drink other than water is allowed in this space. In all spaces, only painter's tape may be used to secure items to the walls or ceilings.

Hours Of Operation Monday-Thursday: 8am to 10pm and cleanup must end by 11pm. Fridays and Saturdays: 8am to 11pm and cleanup must end by midnight. Sundays: Due to our Quaker worship and related activities, our facilities are unavailable to outside space users until 1pm (at the earliest) and may be rented until 10pm, with cleanup finished by 11pm. Major Holidays: Please check with us regarding availability.
Rental Policy Application and guidelines must be filled out, and payment received in full two weeks prior to the booking. An on-site visit is a big plus--it will let you know how the spaces feel and how they might best meet your needs.
Cancellation Policy Changes to or cancellation of your event may be made up to 48 hours prior to the event, A fee may be charged for date changes except in the event of illness, weather, or other emergency beyond the event organizer's control. The initial deposit is non-refundable. The balance becomes non-refundable once received by our office. If you wish to change the date of your event or the spaces on our campus that you use, you may do so within our current fiscal year (ending June 30th), subject to space availability.
